Great pail for disposable diapers!!

Great pail, holds lots of diapers, so I only have to do laundry every 3-4 days! Keeps the smell contained, I only smell the diapers when the pail is open.

GREAT DIAPER PAIL!

This pail has been great. Because of the lid lock you can easily pick it up to run to the laundry room, or just grab the mesh bag out and go. It’s still pretty new for me but so far have not had any bad smell wafting from it which was one of my main concerns when purchasing.

Will be buying a second one for my mother-in-law's house!

I am quite happy with this diaper pail. At first, I thoug that the plastic might hold on to smells, but I find a quick rinse with vinegar and not water, and the lid and pail are clean smelling again. I own an expensive UBBI pail, but prefer this one, as I don't have to mush my hand into the stinky hole of the UBBI. Diapers sit really really well when you just throw them in this pail, and you don't have to 'carefully stack' the soiled diapers when you're putting them in it. I like that the pail is white, as my nursery is white and grey, and I also think the carbon filter works excellently. I will be ordering a second pail, along with a few more filters in the coming months, to leave at my mother in-laws house. It is also cheaper to buy the pail from Motherease than from local stores.

Hides the smell!

This diaper pail does an excellent job of keeping the odour from soiled diapers (particularly the urine smell - that can quickly get very pungent) trapped inside. When the lid is on, whether locked or unlocked, there is no smell. I know it's not just because I've gotten used to any aromas either. I've received comments from visitors to my child's nursery asking where I keep the soiled cloth diapers, and they all are amazed when I point to the pail (usually right beside them) and they can't smell a thing.
I find that it's been just the right size to hold two days worth diapers (at least for these first three months, we'll see as the diapers get larger). This is great because I'm not having to do laundry on a daily basis.
The space for the carbon filter is a little tough to open at times, but not enough to be an issue when it's time to change the carbon filter.
The smell from the diapers does build up on the inside of the pail, but a swish with vinegar and a rinse with hot water takes it right out.
