At Mother-ease we pride ourselves on our custom knit fabrics! All of our fabrics move wetness quickly, in order to obtain the highest absorbency, and release soil, making them easy to launder. You will not find our fabrics on a shelf at your local fabric store. We put all our fabrics through intensive testing before use, ensuring that our products are made with only the softest, most effective materials.
All of our fabrics are custom knit specially for Mother-ease and allow us to manufacture cloth diapers that do not require multiple washes to 'prep' them to become absorbent before you use them!
Stay Dry
Stay dry. Stay comfortable.
Our 100% polyester Stay Dry fabric features a soft, athletic-style wicking layer against baby's skin that quickly pulls moisture away and into the absorbent layers below.
Unlike natural fibres that feel wet when saturated, the Stay Dry layer helps keep baby feeling dry and comfortable between changes while still allowing the absorbent fabric underneath to do the work.
It's an especially great choice for overnight use, heavy wetters, or babies who are sensitive to the feeling of wetness.
If keeping baby feeling dry against the skin is your priority, Stay Dry is our recommended choice.

Natural Cotton Terry
Soft, absorbent and built to last.
Our natural cotton fabric is made with 82% cotton and an 18% polyester support base for added strength and durability. The polyester forms the foundation of the fabric, while only soft cotton touches baby's skin.
This unique construction gives you the natural comfort and absorbency of cotton with the added durability needed to stand up to frequent washing and years of regular use.
If longevity and durability are your priority (while still having natural fabrics against baby), Natural Cotton is our recommended choice.

100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton
100% organic cotton. No polyester support base.
For families who prioritize natural fibres, our 100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton contains no polyester support base, just certified organic cotton throughout.
Soft, breathable and highly absorbent, it offers the trusted performance of Mother-ease in a completely organic cotton fabric.
Because it does not contain the polyester support base found in our Natural Cotton fabric, Organic Cotton is naturally less durable. With regular washing and use, the cotton may thin or get holes sooner than our Natural Cotton fabric. This is normal wear for 100% cotton and is not a manufacturing defect.
If 100% organic cotton is your priority, choose Organic Cotton. If maximum longevity is your priority, we recommend Natural Cotton.

PUL Cover Fabric
Our covers are made from 100% polyester PUL (Polyurethane Laminate), a soft, lightweight fabric that is completely waterproof while remaining breathable. Finished with our exclusive nylon binding, Mother-ease covers provide exceptional leak protection and durability for everyday use.
Durability & Longevity
Waterproof covers are a wear item. With regular use and washing, the PUL will gradually thin and develop microscopic cracks that reduce its waterproof performance. The lifespan of a cover will vary depending on use and care, but periodic replacement is a normal part of maintaining leak protection.
Polyester Support Base Explained
As you can see in the image below, polyester makes up the netted base of the fabric that the natural cotton is woven through. You cannot see or feel this polyester core, it is just there to ensure your diapers last as long as you need them to.
