Let's take a closer look at each type of diaper:

Fitted Cloth Diapers

Available in our Sandy's and One Size fitted diapers

Fitted Diapers

In the early 90's fitted cloth diapers transformed the cloth diapering industry. Cloth diapers became not only an economical diapering option, but they were now incredibly effective and simplistic to use. Today, fitted diapers are still a popular cloth diapering option, offering even more fabric options, maximized absorbency and reduced drying times.

A fitted diapering system is one of the most economical and reliable cloth diaper options, and it's the very system that Mother-ease was founded on. It consists of two parts: an absorbent fitted cloth diaper that's snapped on your baby first, followed by a waterproof diaper cover that goes overtop.

This simple two-step system offers excellent leak protection and containment, making it a favorite among parents who value performance and durability. The only challenge? Once your little one starts to wiggle and roll during diaper changes, getting through both steps can take a bit more patience. But that payoff in comfort and reliability is well worth it.

The waterproof Air Flow Cover that is worn overtop is available in a number of sizes for a customized fit as your baby grows.

All in Two Cloth Diapers

All-in-Two Diapers

All-in-Two (AI2) diapers are another economical choice, designed with separate absorbent inserts and waterproof covers. This allows you to simply swap out the wet or soiled insert while reusing the cover a few times before washing, saving time, money, and laundry.

The key difference between an AI2 and a fitted diaper system is how they come together: with an AI2, the absorbent insert snaps directly into the waterproof cover before you put it on your baby, making diaper changes a quick one-step process instead of two.

Simply unsnap the wet or soiled absorbent insert from the waterproof cover and replace it with a clean one, reusing the waterproof cover.

The Mother-ease Difference

Unlike other AI2 diapers on the market, Mother-ease's innovative Wizard Duo uses a fully elasticized absorbent Insert that spans the entire inside of the waterproof cover. The waterproof cover is also fully elasticized, creating two lines of defense against leaks and blow-outs. A Night-Time Insert is available for 12+ hours of leak-free nights and naps. Mother-ease offers a lifetime warranty on our snaps and elastics.

Advantages of an AI2 Diapering System

Convenient one-step diapering system
Quick Drying - diaper and waterproof cover are separate
Economical - less covers are required than absorbent Inserts
Easy to use - preassemble diapers for child care providers and grandparents
Elastic - fully elasticized waist and legs for great containment

All in One Cloth Diapers

All-in-One Diapers

All-in-One (AIO) diapers are the ultimate in convenience and simplicity. With the absorbent insert and waterproof cover sewn together into one complete diaper, there are no extra steps - just grab, snap, and go! This makes AIO diapers a perfect choice for daycare, grandparents, or quick changes on the go.

However, that convenience come with a trade-off. Because the absorbent insert and waterproof cover are permanently attached, AIO diaper covers can't be reused between washes. You'll need around 20 full diapers for full-time cloth diapering, and as the covers wear, the entire diaper needs replacing.

For that reason, many parents like to mix AIO diapers into their regular stash, keeping a few on hand for those times when ease and speed matter most, without sacrificing the economy of a two-part system for everyday use.

The Mother-ease Difference

Mother-ease All-in-One diapers are manufactured with our EasyCare technology, which allows the diaper to dry quickly. Our AIO cover is wider than the inner absorbent diaper, allowing it to fully encompass the absorbent diaper, resulting in a leak-free system. Mother-ease offers a lifetime warranty on our elastics and snaps!

Advantages of an AIO Diapering System

Convenience - the most convenient diapering system
Fit - the best fit at any age
Easy to use - out of the wash and drier and wrapped around your baby's bum
Elastic - fully elasticized waist and legs for great containment
Extra Absorbency - easy added between the cover and absorbent inner
