All in One Versus All in Two Cloth Diapers
There are loads of different types of diapers on the market. We’ve previously discussed Prefolds + Flats vs. Fitted Cloth Diapers but today we’re breaking down two more modern cloth diaper systems, All in One and All in two diapers.
Your baby will spend all their time in diapers, so it is vital to consider all options when determining a suitable cloth diaper system. Choosing what will work best for your family and lifestyle is key to a successful cloth diaper journey.
An All in One (AIO) cloth diaper means that the absorbent cloth diaper and waterproof diaper cover are sewn together to create one piece. An All in Two (AI2) diaper means that the absorbent insert and the waterproof cover are two separate pieces that need to be snapped together to create a complete cloth diaper.
As with any item for purchase, added convenience and ease of use come with a higher price tag, and cloth diapers are no exception. An AIO diaper is the easiest, most convenient cloth diapering option. This makes it more of an investment than its sister system - the AI2.
An AIO cloth diaper is all sewn together, meaning your covers match your inserts 1:1. This is where the added investment comes in. It also means washing your covers after every use, adding wear and tear.
The AI2 cloth diaper system will be more of an economical option when deciding on a complete set of cloth diapers. With an AI2 cloth diaper, your insert and cover come separately, allowing you to reuse your cover 3-4 times before washing it.
Wizard Uno (AIO)
Our AIO cloth diaper system is called the Wizard Uno. Most All in One diapers have a reputation for being hard to wash and dry, but Mother-ease's EasyCareTM technology ensures a hygienic wash and drying time. The Wizard Uno's absorbent inner is available in either organic cotton or polyester stay-dry fabric. The Wizard Uno is convenient as a disposable diaper but without waste. This type of diaper will cost anywhere from $24 to $32, depending on the size you need.
Wizard Duo (AI2)
Our AI2 cloth diaper system is called the Wizard Duo. When snapped together, our Wizard Duo becomes a Wizard Uno. The Wizard Duo's absorbent Fitted Insert is available in either natural cotton or polyester stay-dry fabric. We also offer a special stay-dry nighttime insert with additional absorbency sewn in.
You only need about ten waterproof covers for a complete set and approximately 24 absorbent inserts.
The Wizard Uno and Wizard Duo are trim-fitting, convenient, and made with an elasticized waist (front and back) and leg openings for a perfect leak-free cloth diaper. Their design allows you to easily slip additional absorbent liners between the cover and the absorbent insert for naps or night-time. Still not sure what diaper system to choose?

This two can save the ever growing landfill waste, imagine in a factory alone it throws 2% of diapers that did not pass it’s quality straight in the landfill more info at https://diaperrecycling.technology/factory-waste/
