A fitted diapering system is one of the most economical and reliable cloth diaper options, and it's the very system that Mother-ease was founded on. It consists of two parts: an absorbent fitted cloth diaper that's snapped on your baby first, followed by a waterproof diaper cover that goes overtop.

This simple two-step system offers excellent leak protection and containment, making it a favorite among parents who value performance and durability. The only challenge? Once your little one starts to wiggle and roll during diaper changes, getting through both steps can take a bit more patience. But that payoff in comfort and reliability is well worth it.

All-in-Two (AI2) diapers are another economical choice, designed with separate absorbent inserts and waterproof covers. This allows you to simply swap out the wet or soiled insert while reusing the cover a few times before washing, saving time, money, and laundry.

The key difference between an AI2 and a fitted diaper system is how they come together: with an AI2, the absorbent insert snaps directly into the waterproof cover before you put it on your baby, making diaper changes a quick one-step process instead of two.

Like all Mother-ease diapering systems, our AI2 offers superior containment and leak protection, while also providing a trimmer, more modern fit. Perfect for parents who want both convenience and style, especially with those wiggly little ones!

All-in-One (AIO) diapers are the ultimate in convenience and simplicity. With the absorbent insert and waterproof cover sewn together into one complete diaper, there are no extra steps - just grab, snap, and go! This makes AIO diapers a perfect choice for daycare, grandparents, or quick changes on the go.

However, that convenience come with a trade-off. Because the absorbent insert and waterproof cover are permanently attached, AIO diaper covers can't be reused between washes. You'll need around 20 full diapers for full-time cloth diapering, and as the covers wear, the entire diaper needs replacing.

For that reason, many parents like to mix AIO diapers into their regular stash, keeping a few on hand for those times when ease and speed matter most, without sacrificing the economy of a two-part system for everyday use.
