How It Works:
The SprayMate cloth diaper sprayer splatter shield unique design works by allowing the dirty water to gently drain down its sloping sides and bottom to its long narrow drain slot. Sloping sidewalls and bottom prevents the high pressure spraying water from your Diaper Sprayer or Bedpan Sprayer from bouncing up and becoming airborne as you rinse. This happens when rinsing in a flat bottom rinse tub, open bottom spray shield or directly in the toilet water. As the spraying water hits the flat bottom or toilet water directly, the dirty water bounces up becoming airborne, spreading bacteria and germs as you rinse. The SprayMate splatter shield sloping sides and bottom solves this problem by gently projecting the falling water downward to the drain slot. The SprayMate splatter shield drain slot also prevents spreading airborne germs and bacteria because it’s located only a few inches above the toilet water, allowing the dirty water to gently drain without splashing in the toilet water.
